Commercial 1 Services (C1S) was hired to do a professional pressure washing for the Walker Avenue Apartments. This student residence complex consists of 12 tall buildings which belong to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

This project presented a two particular challenges. First to each the soffits and fascias which are located 5-to 6 stories high, and second to thoroughly cleaning them using the right amount of water pressure. Too much pressure could blow away the soffits and gutters.

Special equipment had to be brought on site including a 65 ft. telescopic boom lift, a 55 ft scissors lift and commercial grade scaffolds to high-to-reach areas in addition to the pressure washing equipment and tools. This job had to be scheduled during the summer student break for safety reasons and logistics.
